VGCL President received FES Senior Officials |
In the afternoon of 6 May, 2010, at its head-office, VGCL President Dang Ngoc Tung received Ms Anke Fuchs, FES President (Germany) and other FES senior oficials, on the occasion of her working visit to Vietnam.President Dang Ngoc Tung highly valued FES’s assistance in improving VGCL’s legal aid and counselling centres, training trade union officials, through FES Office in Hanoi. That has become a bridge to connect Vietnamese trade union movement to German and International one.

From 5 to 9 May, 2010, a VGCL delegation headed by its Senior Vice President Nguyen Hoa Binh attended 16th CGIL Congress (held in Rimini, Italy), at the invitation of CGIL.CGIL is the biggest trade union organization in Italy with more than 5.5 million members. It has a good and traditional relationship with Vietnam and VGCL, especially during Vietnam war.Over 1,100 domestic delegates and 152 international from 72 various countries and organizations attended.

A delegation of Korean Finance and Banking Union led by its Vice President Ahn Dong Seok has paid a working visit to Vietnam from 4th to 9th, April. Boosting Vietnamese-Japanese Trade Unions Relationship |
At the invitation of the National Trade Union Confederation of Japan (Zenroren), a VGCL delegation headed by its Vice President Nguyen Thi Thu Hong paid a working visit to Japan from 28th March to 3th April. During the visit, VGCL and Zenroren leaders held various meetings to exchange views and measures to boost bilateral friendly relationship and cooperation between two organizations.
